Jack the Ripper was a serial killer in the end of the 19th century. His/her identity was and still is a mystery to  this day. 

Some names were dropped but nothing is certain. The murders just stopped one days.

 But here is where everything gets interesting, all Jack's victims were woman. Also, there is a certain number of prostitutes. The most confusing part is that, for some of the victims, parts of the reproductive system were removed, so this is clearly a kind of message.
